iO Masters
iO Masters are the local controllers that complement the Hub: they manage groups of devices in a specific zone of the home (a floor, a wing, an outdoor area), reducing dependence on the central Hub and improving response speed. Useful for medium-sized installations where multiple control zones need autonomy.

iO Masters decentralise the intelligence of the Smart Home system: instead of the central Hub managing every device in the home, each Master manages those in its zone and only consults the Hub when needed. Result: lower latency on everyday actions (turning on a light responds immediately), greater robustness against Hub or Wi-Fi outages and better scalability for large installations.
