Steinel, Simon's product partner

Our purpose at Simon is to offer, through all our businesses, integral solutions for office, retail, hospitality and demanding domestic projects where quality, design and functionality come first. In this alliance with our product partner Steinel — a German company expert in sensors and recognised for its commitment to excellence and technological avant-garde — we present the new Sensor Pro range, the collection of motion and presence sensors that enable an efficient management of lighting and energy.

Sensor Pro Range

Sensor Pro

General products

Sensors that cover basic needs.

Sensor Pro

Special projects

Advanced, specialized solutions to meet the specific needs of use and space, aimed at projects in office, commercial, and hotel environments, among others.

Sensor Pro

Sensorlight

Luminaires that integrate sensors invisibly to offer complete solutions. These devices can be interconnected, allowing for greater energy savings.

Aplications

In meeting rooms, it is optimal to use presence sensors instead of motion sensors. While motion sensors, designed to detect large movements, can miss subtle ones, presence sensors are designed to detect more discreet movements. This ensures precise lighting control, optimizing energy efficiency and guaranteeing a better user experience.

For all types of installations

This type of installation allows the sensor to be integrated into the ceiling, achieving a flatter surface and a more discreet and flush appearance.

Motion or Presence Sensors

The difference between these two types of detection lies in the degree of movement. Motion sensors are designed to detect large movements, while presence sensors detect more subtle movements. Therefore, depending on the level of activity of the people present, we will choose a presence or motion sensor.

What technologies do our sensors use?

Two different technologies ensure the sensor's effectiveness depending on the characteristics of the space and environment. Sensors with Passive Infrared (PIR) technology react to moving heat sources within the detection area. In contrast, sensors that integrate high-frequency (HF) technology emit high-frequency electromagnetic waves and can detect movement or presence through physical obstacles within the detection range.

Control Type

The ON/OFF control in our motion and presence sensors allows for direct switching of the luminaires on and off, without dimming capability.

Finishes

The Sensor Pro range is available in black, white and anthracite, with the sensor lens the same color as the device to ensure perfect aesthetic integration into the space.
