Standard flooring is laid directly over the structural slab. A false floor (raised access floor) creates a hollow space between the slab and the walking surface, made of modular tiles supported by pedestals. The false floor is used to route electrical, voice, data and HVAC installations under the floor and access them through registers and floor boxes — typical in offices, server rooms, classrooms and meeting rooms where flexibility is needed.

Cable outlets allow routing wiring from the false floor or flooring up to the end device — desks, equipment, furniture — keeping the wiring organised and protected. Available in different sizes and configurations, with brush guards or covers that minimise dust and visual impact.
