Simon's catalogue covers the main socket standards used in European installations. Schuko is the most widespread standard for residential and commercial environments; French sockets, with their male earth pin, are the standard in France and several markets that have adopted that system; double-pole sockets simultaneously interrupt live and neutral for enhanced safety; Euro-American sockets accept both European and American plugs; and shaver sockets provide a low-power, isolated connection specifically for bathrooms.
