Simon Morocco also joined in the centenary celebrations

Simon Morocco joined in and celebrated the company’s 100th anniversary, and the venue chosen was the Rif cinema, built in the 1930s in the most emblematic square of Tangier, La Place du 9 avril, right at the entrance to the medina quarter.

The former film library is now the cultural hub of Tangier, and it was in this setting that guests enjoyed a showing of the video on Simon’s centenary on the large screen.

The entire staff from the Tangier and Casablanca offices, as well as the sales team from throughout the country, travelled to Tangier to attend the event, which also featured the Group president, Sergio Vives, the CEO, Luis Lopezbarrena and other company executives like Javier Lorenzo, Albert Muñoz and Esteban Bretcha.

The ceremony started with a speech by the president and market director, Javier Lorenzo, who appreciated the effort, devotion and excellent work of everyone on the staff at Simon Morocco, whose managers were invited up on stage.

After the screening of the documentary and the group photo, the guests enjoyed a lunch to strengthen even more the ties that bond this tight-knit group, which showed its pride of belonging to a hundred-year-old company.
