Commemorative Act presided over by His Majesty the King of Spain

On 18 July 2016, during the commemorative act marking the centenary of Simon, His Majesty the King  of Spain took a look back at the company's history and its most iconic products from the past 100 years.

The Chairman of the Board of the Simon Group, Sergio Vives Simón, and the CEO of Simon Holding, Luis Lopezbarrena, accompanied His Majesty the King on a tour of the exhibition “Interfaces: 100 Years of Design at Simon”, which looks back at the company's history and most iconic products from the past 100 years. He was accompanied on the tour by the representative authorities Mr Rafael Catalá, Minister of Justice, Mr Carles Puigdemont, President of the Government of Catalonia, and Mrs Maria de los Llanos de Luna, Delegated Representative of the Government in Barcelona.

At the end of the event, His Majesty the King unveiled a plaque to commemorate Simon’s centenary.
