100 Minutes with Josep Roca
As part of the company’s centenary, Simon hosted a series of talks on aspects related to design, technology and the company. The talk by Josep Roca, sommelier at the Celler de Can Roca, one of the most prestigious restaurants in the world, took place as part of Simon’s centenary celebration, during the “100 minutes with” sessions.
Josep Roca owns El Celler de Can Roca together with his brothers Joan and Jordi. The restaurant has three Michelin stars and was named the world's best restaurant by ‘Restaurant’ magazine in 2013 and 2015. Josep Roca's creative cooking attracted the attention of Harvard University, where he was invited to talk about the science of cookery.
In his talk, “Innovation: The Story of Celler de Can Roca”, Josep Roca discussed the importance of creativity and innovation in cooking and how it has shaped the story of his restaurant, ‘El Celler de Can Roca’.
