100 Minutes with David Rose

David Rose’s talk took place as part of Simon’s centenary celebration, during the “100 minutes with” sessions, and was titled “The new vanguard in business: Connectivity, design and the Internet of things".
North Carolina-born David L. Rose is a scientist and lecturer at the Media Lab of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Boston. His research work focuses on connections between humans and computers and he was one of the creators of online photo sharing. Author of the book Enchanted Objects: Design, Human Desire, and the Internet of Things, Rose is one of the strongest proponents of the Internet of Things.
In his talk, David Rose explained how we can adapt to this impending change. It is time to revolutionise how business thinks about technology, money and design.
